Landor
Pattern & Production Design, Brand Guidelines

Goodnites prevent bedwetting and focus on making the nighttime routine full of less worry, and more childhood. Because there is shame with bedwetting, the overall challenge was to create an experience that would make users feel comfortable and confident when going to bed.

My project was to create outer cover graphics for Goodnites overnight pants. I also worked on the brand guidelines for the redesign and collaborated with the execution team to design final packaging production files.

boys’ nighttime pants

When doing research, I found that stripes, graphic t-shirts, and space were a current trend in boys clothing. I was inspired by current trends in superhero clothing as well as graphic patterns to create a modern pant that boys want to wear. Each size has two age appropriate designs in a pack that kids want to wear.

During my audit for the girls pant, I noticed trends in bold colors and animal characters. I was then inspired by a layered illustration style to create playful patterns that was similar to underwear to make them feel confident while wearing them.

bringing the brand to life

When creating the Goodnites Brand Guidelines, I made the rules on how the brand should live outside of pack and beyond. This involved deciding the do’s and don’ts of the brand to keep a consistent voice on all platforms.
